Support Contracts
Support contracts do not have to be complex or expensive. All inclusive maintenance contracts can cover a single PC to a company’s full inventory of computer and peripheral hardware. Standard cover is comprehensive and will provide for:
- Either repair on site, or collection and delivery.
- Replacement system whilst yours is being repaired (where applicable).
- Same day response for critical failures.
- An 8 hour response for non critical failures
- Disaster recovery advice and assistance (see below).
- Total peace of mind for the price of the annual contract.
- Free consultancy at times when Whitebarn are on your premises - use them to advise on any other aspects of your IT systems.
Disaster Recovery
Every business takes care to back up data to floppy disk, tape or CD. But have you ever considered how you would restore that data into a live system should a disaster strike, such as fire or flood, or your hard disk fail completely.
In the case of catastrophic loss Whitebarn can supply compatible hardware, restore your operating system, applications and backup software, and help recover your saved data.
Should a disaster happen, Whitebarn will be there quickly. An engineer will aim to be on site within 4 hours and have your system working again within 8 hours.
Disaster Recovery advice and assistance forms part of the standard Support Contract, but is also available separately.
Pay Per Call
Help is just a phone call away. You may not want to enter into a support contract, but still want to have help and advice at your fingertips. ‘Pay Per Call’ gives you this facility at a very reasonable cost. You pay by the hour (minimum 1 hour, reduced rate for subsequent hours and for part hours). The terms of this arrangement are similar to those of the Support Contract, but although Whitebarn will make every effort to attend to your call urgently, an 8 hour response rate cannot be guaranteed. Loan systems are chargeable.

Repairs and Upgrades
Expert advice on upgrades and costs can provide the knowledge you need to be able to make decisions about your IT equipment. Should an upgrade be appropriate, Whitebarn will either visit you on site, or collect and deliver your PCs to carry out the work.
In many cases, upgrades can be supplied and fitted for the cost of the part when purchased from well-known PC retail outlets. Whitebarn have a comprehensive catalogue of parts and can obtain specific parts as required. Only quality parts are used and all work is backed by guarantee.
